THEME EXPLANATION
The theme for our fifth Art Jam, Fight or Flight, invites you to freely associate and create. We encourage everyone to explore how this theme relates to the other art jam themes (Touch > Metamorphosis > Clarity > Dream Within a Dream) as they are inherently connected. The topic refers to the flight-or-fight response, "a physiological reaction that occurs in response to a perceived harmful event, attack, or threat to survival"[1]. It's about the reaction to certain difficulties, realizations, things that are out of the ordinary in life. And of course we also ask the question of whether there are really only two options to act upon.
